Bluegrass Bass Intensive Class

We’ll cover proper stand-up bass technique and play a variety of songs to develop the skill of hearing chord changes and playing in all the common keys. Also, we’ll look at how to play waltzes, 4/4 and walking bass lines, talk about Nashville notation, and will practice singing while holding down the low end on bass. We’ll also focus on driving the beat forward and finding the pocket with the guitar and mandolin players in a jam.
